Macro Test

I took this shot while walking around at Caloundra in Sunshine Coast. I wanted to test the capabilities of this cheap Lens by Tamron (70-300mm) and specially its Macro feature. Macro Lenses are known for their sharpness and this Lens isnt an exception, though the Bokeh is bit disappointing with this lens but its all about the $$$ you pay for this lens.

This is a not a True Macro Lens and doesnt give you the capability to shoot from a close distance. The lens have to be rather 180mm to enable the Macro Switch so I would rather see it as a feature to achieve some extra sharpness instead of taking close up shots of insects or other objects.
